In the heart of Java, Batik Wayang was born in 2002 from a vision to preserve Indonesian heritage while embracing modern values of sustainability, slow fashion, and conscious Batik design.

Our scarves are created through a traditional, hands-on method using wooden silk screen frames, known locally as cap sablon. Though different from hand-drawn (batik tulis), this process is equally artisanal, demanding skill, timing, and human intuition.- a process that honors generations of artistry and cultural storytelling.

Each design is thoughtfully applied by hand, using natural AZO-free dyes, resulting in Batik pieces that are truly one-of-a-kind. From Batik Scarves, Shawls, Accessories, to luxurious Gift Sets, Batik Wayang is a gift that keeps giving.
